To conclude this series of SayaCare podcasts, we have chosen an episode that invites us to look inward with curiosity and a deep desire to understand ourselves differently.

We welcome Néné Oularé (@cognitiveshiftbynene), a strategic and cognitive coach with over ten years of experience, an expert in cognitive matrices, leadership, and change management. Néné guides us through a fascinating and little-explored area of health conversations: cognitive biases and their silent influence on our decisions, emotions, and relationship with ourselves.

Together, we explore how our automatic thoughts, often inherited from our experiences, cultures, and fears, can limit our access to care, skew our perception of our own health, or prevent us from seeking help. We talk about confirmation bias, which makes us look for things that reinforce our beliefs. Normalization bias, which makes us minimize our symptoms. And social comparison bias, which pushes us to relativize our pain.

Néné doesn’t stop at diagnosis: she offers concrete tools to “reprogram” our thought patterns, develop a more accurate view of ourselves, and make health decisions that are more aligned with our true needs.

This episode closes the first season of the SayaCare podcast on a transformative note, because understanding how we think is already a step toward changing how we live.
