International project manager
Johanna is an international project manager and musician of Cameroonian origin. Shaped by years in Zimbabwe, Congo-Brazzaville, and Canada, she brings over five years of experience coordinating projects with UNICEF and Canadian NGOs. She holds a Bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences and a Master's in Public Health from Université de Montréal, and has published research on decolonizing global health.
An artist for over ten years, she has taken the stage at Festival Nuits d'Afrique and won the 2024 Emerging Artist Award from the Maison d'Haïti Arts Centre. Now at Sayaspora, she channels this dual grounding to amplify the voices of African diaspora women in Canada's cultural sector.
