Support for the finalization of digital content

Thursday, January 8, 2026 | Facilitated by the program’s project managers: Nicole Sarr and Myriam Touré

Number of participants: 14 people online

Workshop Outline:

The fourth workshop of the MTL à travers elles program was held online and was dedicated to supporting participants in finalizing their digital content.

Organized as individual sessions, this workshop allowed each participant to present the progress of her project and receive personalized support on the structure, editing, length, and coherence of her narrative. Careful work was done on storytelling to ensure that each piece of content clearly reflected the initial intention and the message the participant wished to convey.

This workshop also explored intercultural expression and the different ways of telling one’s story through storytelling, poetry, visual art, and music. Particular attention was paid to public speaking and valuing personal narratives, in order to strengthen participants’ confidence in sharing their stories.

In this context, participants also gave a short presentation of their story, allowing them to practice their narrative and test the clarity and impact of their message. This workshop was a crucial step in finalizing the projects, combining technical support, narrative work, and the valuing of individual stories.

Feedback from participants:

At the end of this workshop, the participants generally felt relieved. and reassured about the progress of their projects. The work done on finalizing their digital content, including storytelling, structure, and narrative coherence, helped reduce the stress and pressure associated with submitting their first version.

The workshop also provided an opportunity to explore different forms of cultural expression for telling their stories, thus reinforcing the diversity of narrative approaches used. Work on public speaking and highlighting personal narratives helped strengthen their confidence in sharing their stories and in the clarity of their message.

The individual presentation of a short testimonial allowed each participant to express a significant moment in their journey and to test the impact of their story. This exercise was particularly rewarding.

Finally, the opportunity to come to the office for additional help or resources was greatly appreciated. Several participants subsequently scheduled appointments with the project manager, which reinforced their sense of ongoing support. A dynamic of mutual support also developed among them, contributing to a more serene and collaborative atmosphere surrounding the completion of their projects.
