The third workshop of the MTL program, led by Elles, aimed to support participants in structuring their projects by giving them a clear, coherent, and intentional direction. The objective was to transform an idea or initial creative concept into a fully developed work with a defined narrative and visual world.

Participants worked on the fundamentals of storytelling, organizing their projects like a story, with a beginning, middle, and end. Through a multi-stage process—idea, intention, message, structure, and vision—they were able to clarify what they wanted to convey, evoke, and communicate to their audience.

Particular attention was paid to developing the visual world (colors, light, rhythm), as well as understanding transitions and narrative pacing. The concept of a “hook” (a hook) was also introduced, allowing participants to capture attention from the very first seconds, followed by a three-part emotional structure: the intro, the tension, and the release.

A significant portion of the training was also dedicated to editing. Participants learned the fundamentals of video editing to bring their projects to life through rhythm, image, and sound. The CapCut tool was presented as a simple, intuitive solution adapted to vertical formats (Reels, TikTok), with accessible features such as automatic subtitles, templates, and some artificial intelligence tools.

They learned the essential steps of editing: importing their content (photos, videos, music), trimming unnecessary elements, organizing shots in a logical order, adding text, sound, effects, and transitions, and then exporting their final project. Through practical exercises, both individual and group-based, participants were able to make concrete progress on their creative plans, while sharing ideas and inspiring one another. This training thus laid a solid foundation for the final delivery of their projects.

Participant Feedback:

The participants perceived this final training as a key step in finalizing their projects. They appreciated being able to structure their narratives, clarify their message, and better understand how to capture attention and convey emotion.

Working on the hook and narrative structure strengthened their confidence in their ability to tell a compelling story. The editing component, particularly with CapCut, was also highly valued, making the process more accessible and practical. Overall, they feel more independent, equipped, and ready to finalize and distribute their projects, having benefited from a supportive and inspiring environment.
