Project summary

The Sayasafe project aims to create a safer, more respectful and inclusive digital and urban environment for these young women. Over a 20-month period, our project aims to educate, empower and raise awareness among this target community of the challenges and opportunities associated with digital and urban safety. Sayasafe will create essential resources and spaces for cybersecurity, street harassment prevention, gender-based violence awareness and identity affirmation. In addition, it will create an inclusive space where young women from the African diaspora can share their experiences and support each other.
