Maty Diop

Of French-Senegalese origin, Maty arrived in Canada in 2016 after completing her Master's degree in Marketing and Intercultural Management in Paris.

Curious about everything, she is particularly passionate about the world of culture and her community. With her strong social commitment, particularly to women's issues and the inequalities suffered by visible minorities, it was only natural that she should put her skills at the service of the African and Afro-descendant population for the past eight years.

Maty joined the Sayaspora team in May 2023 as Project Manager, enabling the organization to develop new and innovative initiatives and to raise the profile of women from the African diaspora across Canada.
