It begins with a movement—a vision of unity, collaboration, and bold action to address systemic racism and drive meaningful change. The 4th National Black Canadians Summit, happening January 31 to February 2, 2025, at Montreal’s Palais des Congrès, is a platform for dialogue, solutions, and collective progress. Presented by TD Bank Group, this transformative event invites you to join the movement to achieve recognition, justice, and development for Black communities across Canada.
A Clear Mission
The Summit is not just a gathering; it is a call to action. It unites Canadians of African descent across generations to confront the persistent impacts of racism on every sector of society—from education and health to cultural heritage and economic inclusion. By fostering dialogue, proposing solutions, and sparking action, the Summit seeks to eradicate racial discrimination and promote equity for all.
As the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Co-Founder of the Michaëlle Jean Foundation, puts it: “There is hope to cultivate, and there is urgency. We must act together to shape a better future.” Her words underline the Summit’s purpose: addressing systemic inequities with determination and hope.

Impact Through Individual Stories
