The second MTL program workshop, led by Miya Visions, marked a key milestone in the transition from idea to reality. This session aimed to guide participants in transforming their creative intentions into tangible content, providing them with practical tools to plan, capture, and translate their vision.<\/p>\n

Initial work focused on choosing a medium, inviting participants to consider the most relevant form to express their ideas. Several options were explored: photography to capture an emotion or symbol, video to depict movement or transformation, audio to convey an atmosphere or memory, and mixed formats combining various approaches. This reflection enabled them to make creative choices aligned with their message.<\/p>\n

The workshop also introduced the fundamentals of screenwriting and long takes. Participants learned to structure their content in advance, defining the flow of their video, the images, the sounds, and the associated intentions. The script was presented as an essential tool for clarifying the project’s direction and serving as a guide for filming and editing.<\/p>\n

On a technical level, Miya Visions shared practical knowledge about the settings to master with an iPhone or camera (lighting, framing, stability), as well as the different types of shots to use to enrich the visual storytelling. An introduction to basic equipment (microphone, tripod, lighting) was also provided, allowing participants to better understand how to improve the quality of their productions, even with readily available resources. This training enabled participants to gain technical autonomy and creative clarity, giving them the necessary foundation to move from capturing their project with intention and coherence.<\/p>\n

Participant Feedback:<\/strong><\/p>\n

They felt better equipped technically, which reduced their apprehensions and strengthened their confidence in content creation.<\/p>\n

They were also able to openly express their concerns, particularly regarding a lack of equipment and resources, which helped identify concrete needs and develop potential solutions. This step allowed them to make more intentional choices about the medium and storytelling, while reinforcing their commitment and their ability to bring their project to fruition.<\/p>\n<\/div>
