SAYASPORA is open to submissions from African women writers.
Articles must be in the format of interviews, opinion pieces, music, movies or book reviews and feature articles.
Articles must cover Africa/contemporary African diaspora-related events and topics, especially those that center women. Submission should challenge normative ideas about gender, sexuality, race, development, ideas of modernity and “Africa” as an academic subject.
Entries in English or French will both be accepted.
How to submit your article:
Self-promoting and commercial ads-related articles will be rejected.
We will contact you only if your article is selected for submission. Selected articles will be reviewed and edited accordingly.
Writing for us will not be remunerated as we are all working on a voluntary basis. But don’t shy way! Writing for us will help us further promote the narratives of African women globally!
